Raleigh’s engagement in The Arts began in  childhood, where from a young age she gained inspiration from nature, reading, writing, and the practice of observing human behavior. Naturally a quiet child, she learned to express herself through visual art and music, dedicating her time to drawing, painting, writing, singing, and learning to play the guitar and piano. As she grew, she observed the world and made sense of her place in it, by developing her inner voice and perspectives through these mediums. In young adulthood, Raleigh attended Dartmouth College, where she formally studied Visual Arts and engaged in many musical ensembles to continue her interests. In addition to her career as a professional artist and musician, she also works as professional art educator. Her current work focuses on seeking, identifying, and articulating the principle lessons to be found in the human experience.
